Owner, content marketing consultant, writer and managing editor
I have a vision for a content marketing agency that consistently produces standout material aligned with my clients’ business goals. I love working with companies that are innovating to tackle challenges in education — career success, the skills gap, credentialing, funding, access, completion and, most of all, learning and teaching. And I’m fascinated by companies that are innovating either on product development or on the business model — or both.

An experienced B2B journalist, Maria Wood splits her time between content marketing writing and business reporting. Her expertise spans from commercial real estate and the lodging industry to annuities and financial planning. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, watching baseball and jogging.
A.J. O’Connell is a freelance journalist and content writer, specializing in education and ed tech. She’s got a long history with education: she started her career as a reporter on the school’s beat for a daily newspaper and spent five years teaching at a community college. A.J.’s true love is fiction. She’s an author with two published novellas and at any given time, she’s working on at least four novels.
Jessie Kwak is a freelance writer living in Portland, Oregon. When she’s not working with B2B marketers to tell their brand’s story, you can find her scribbling away on her latest novel, riding her bike to the brewpub, or exploring the Pacific Northwest. She specializes in strategic marketing content including white papers, thought leadership articles and customer case studies. Beyond working with B2B clients over the past six years, her resume also includes stints as a catalog copywriter, brew pub waitress, tractor driver and mechanic, carpenter, theater house and stage manager, and a popcorn-movie slinger. She likes writing best.
